Canadian activist Maude Barlow, known for upstaging former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney on many social and environmental issues, will address a Belleville audience tomorrow night. Barlow, a guest on CJBQ’s Newsmaker Sunday yesterday, says she’s proud to be helping shape the U.N. policy on water. She says there’s a water crisis around the world…..in places like Africa, the Mediterranean, and Australia. Barlow speaks at an event sponsored by the United Nations Association, Quinte branch, and Quinte Conservation, at Albert College.
