An interesting case from Belleville Police this morning.
Officers say around 2 am today a woman text messaged a friend in Manitoba saying she was being held against her will in an east-end Belleville townhouse.
That friend notified police who responded to the scene where a 41 year old man was taken into custody for breaching his undertaking.
Meanwhile… police say that friend from Manitoba has three warrants out for assault, break and enter, and breach of undertaking.
Police are still investigating the incident and further chargers are pending.
There were no injuries.
