The Supervisor at Quinte Healthcare is beginning the process of selecting a Community Advisory Council. Graham Scott describes the process as the first step in rebuilding the QHC Board of Directors which was dissolved the day after his appointment in mid-April. The Council will advise Scott on the appropriate size and composition of the Board, the process for recruitment and selection of board members. Scott says he hopes to have the Community Advisory Council of about six members formed by the end of May. They will be chosen based on their committment to QHC as one corporation with four sites, knowledge of the local communities and ability to provide council and understand governance.
