20-million dollars will be invested over the next two years to groups and businesses in Eastern Ontario. Northumberland-Quinte West MP Rick Norlock made the announcement at the West-Ben Theatre near Campbellford. He says the money is for the Eastern Ontario Development Program which delivers assistance to help grow the economy. Norlock says they are just two of the more than 950 businesses that used 7.5-million dollars from the fund last year. He says those investments generated more than 29-million dollars into the local economy. Prince Edward-Hastings MP Daryl Kramp made a similar announcement at the Trenval office in Belleville.
