The Forensic Identification Unit of the Belleville Police Service is investigating two break-ins.
Officers responded to an alarm at a Church Street business at 9:22 last night (SAT) and found the building had been entered through a break in the front door.
Police say nothing appears to have been stolen.
Officers responded to a second alarm a few minutes later at a Front Street business.
They found the building had again been entered by someone who had broken the lock on the front door.
This time, merchandise and cash were allegedly stolen.
The investigation continues.
