A spikebelt has been used to stop a fleeing stolen pickup truck north of Trenton.
Quinte West O-P-P tried to pull over a suspicious vehicle on Wooler Road, but the driver sped away, and police followed it onto County Road Five.
A spikebelt was put down just west of Frankford, and three young men inside jumped out and ran after the tires were damaged. The canine unit and Emergency Response Team were called in, and two suspects were found about three hours later.
They face charges of possession of a stolen vehicle. The third suspect, who stole another vehicle in Frankford, was arrested near Toronto last night.
