Plans for new development at a Wellington-area resort will go to Prince Edward County Council next month.
Plannning staff recommended the Official Plan and rezoning requested by “Fields on West Lake” be rejected, but the Planning Committee of the Whole had a tied vote of six-to-six when it met, and the motion was lost.
Fields on West Lake wants to add a maximum of 25 guest suites, a spa, dining and common space, and other uses, but neighbours expressed concern about noise from the facility when events are being held.
County council will deal with the official plan and rezoning issue when it meets on May 14th.
