A British Columbia woman whose crime spree stretched from Belleville to Peterborough has been sentenced to eight months in jail.
Thirty-one-year-old Michelle Kaczmarek, who pleaded guilty to 15 charges on Wednesday, was sentenced in Peterborough court yesterday.
She and a man were arrested in January after a television, a fridge and bed sheets were stolen from a Belleville motel, and a seniors home in Marmora, a motel and a church in Madoc, and other buildings in Lakefield and Peterborough were ripped off.
Her co-accused is still before the court.
