A post-mortem will be held this afternoon on the body of a young boy from Greater Napanee, after a drowning Saturday. The 3 year old’s family woke up Saturday morning to find the boy floating in a gated, above-ground pool. CPR was immediately initiated, however, after being transferred to Lennox and Addington Hospital, and then to the Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto, the boy was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, a 2-year old boy around the same age was involved in a similar incident on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory on Saturday. That child is reportedly being treated at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
