The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation has launched its fundraising year, and announced the honourary chairs for its Silver Anniversary Gala, Maurice and Marilyn Rollins.
Executive director Wendy Warner says that “despite the uncertainty” in the hospital situation right now, fundraising for equipment must go on. Warner says the fall Gala is expected to raise 161-thousand dollars for a new digital heart monitor. The monitor is worn by patients for a few days then handed back for diagnosis. Warner says a recent fundraiser brought in 25-thousand dollars to start the year.
