After weeks of unanswered phone calls….a partner in the proposed Baymount Harness Racing track in Belleville has some answers. Executive Director of the National Capital Region Harness Horse Association Russ Moulton says his members have been frustrated in the lack of communication with Baymount….but that ended last night. In a lengthy phone call with Baymount officials, Moulton was told harness racing will be back on the old track in Belleville this year….with as many as 17 races scheduled. Moulton says Baymount and Quinte Exhibition officials are meeting this afternoon to finalize dates which will be sent to the Ontario Racing Commision for approval.
