A senior citizen is thankful for an off-duty firefighter after he slipped and fell into the Trent River last night near Frankford.
Chief John Whalen says the off-duty firefighter was bar-b-queing at his home around
dinnertime last night when he saw the man fall half-into the water.
Fire crews responded and rescued the man from the river… the unidentified victim
was taken to the Trenton Hospital… his condition is unknown.
