The board and membership of Quinte Health Care have been abolished under the new government-appointed Supervisor.
Graham Scott informed the board members today their services were no longer needed.
He says he will form a community advisory council to oversee the selection of a new skills-based, rather than community-representative board.
Scott says advertisements for applications for board members will be issued once the council decides what kind of board it wants.
