A local Member of Parliament wants business to make a decent profit, but not too much of one.
MP Rick Norlock, announcing gas tax funding in Quinte West today, (yesterday) said he hopes private enterprise won’t take advantage of the surge in demand for their services because of the billions of dollars government is quickly spending on infrastructure.
Quinte West Mayor John Williams worried that project tenders are all coming in significantly over estimates provided by engineering firms.
