Another medical clinic is being planned for Belleville’s downtown area.
The city’s Planning Committee is recommending that city council approve rezoning for a site at Station and Albion Streets. Planning officials say a medical clinic is appropriate since the site is surrounded by a mix of industrial, commercial, and residential uses. After Councillor Taso Christopher expressed concern, a condition was added to prevent its use as a “methadone clinic.”
