A lot of planning for the new Wellington Community Centre will come together at a special Prince Edward County council meeting.
Council will meet tomorrow morning at ten o’clock at Shire Hall in Picton to hear presentations from the Project Site and Design and Fundraising Committees, and will look at a report from the Steering Report.
It will also receive a report about lease space at the new building, which will be built on Belleville Street.
The federal and provincial governments are paying 3.9-million dollars toward the cost of the 11.8-million-dollar building, with the rest coming from Prince Edward County, including one-and-a-half-million dollars through fundraising.
