Motorists using Belleville’s downtown parking lots this summer should find some improvement at some of them.
The city put 140-thousand dollars in the budget for repairing and upgrading parking areas. Deputy City Clerk, Christine Stewart, says the Riverside lot will be re-paved, and there’ll be some work on the expanded Clarke lot. About 30-thousand dollars will be used for environmental assessments on three other sites…the Riggs, the Pinnacle, and what’s known as the B-U-C lot just off Pinnacle Street.
