Cocaine may have been at the root of a domestic assault in Belleville.
Police were called to a disturbance yesterday (SAT) afternoon in the city’s east end…and found a man and woman in a fight.
The woman reportedly sustained minor injuries.
Police say they found a quantity of cocaine and cash during their investigation.
A 29-year-old Belleville man will appear in court in May to face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and domestic assault.
