There’s an economic downturn everywhere, including in the Quinte region, but so far at least, it hasn’t caused serious enough problems among families to force a jump in the workload of the Hastings Children’s Aid Society.
CAS Executive Director Len Kennedy does say that food supply is starting to become more of an issue.
The Hastings Children’s Aid Society has over 400 children in it’s direct care.
