Elementary occasional teachers with the Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board have ratified a new contract.
The deal includes compensation and benefit upgrades and improved access to daily and long term occasional teaching assignments.
The teachers, who are members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario, had been without a contract since last August.
The Kawartha Pine Ridge Local represents 590 public elementary occasional teachers.
