It was a dangerous commute to Belleville. City Police say a truck driver called them, at 10 last night, to report a man was waving in his rear-view mirror from between his cab and trailer. He jumped off the rig at Bell and North Front asking the driver how he could get back to Scarborough. The stowaway had jumped on the rig to visit friends in Toronto but when the truck hit the 401 he was unable to get off. Officers made arrangements for a relative to pick him up and return him to Scarborough.
