The Kawartha-Pine Ridge School Board will have to start looking for a new Director of Education. Sylvia Terpstra’s letter of retirement, effective next September, was accepted at last night’s board meeting. She was a superintendent with the board for four years before becoming the Director in 2004. Terpstra began working at Kawartha-Pine Ridge in 2000 after an extensive career with the York Region School Board.
