Lafarge is recalling 50 fulltime workers laid off six weeks ago from the cement plant in Bath, southeast of Napanee.
Company spokesperson Rob Cumming says some of the employees have already returned, because the economic outlook has improved, and the rest will be back next Monday.
He expects the plant will be operating at full speed next week.
