An impaired Belleville transport truck driver won’t be working for a while after getting busted weaving in and out of traffic on the 4-0-1. Quinte West OPP recieved numerous calls from other truckers , at 11:30 last night, advising the driver was speeding and crossing the eastbound lanes nearly causing accidents. He was stopped near St. Hillair Road east of Belleville and had to be assisted from the cab…an open bottle of liquor was seized. Police say the transport was loaded and headed for Belleville. The driver failed breath tests at the Quinte West detachment and was held in custody until sober.
