A Belleville man is charged with smoking in a vehicle with a young person present.
Shawn Boisvert was charged under the new provincial legislation after a car he was a passenger in was stopped by the O-P-P on Main Street in Picton yesterday.
Another person, under 16, was also in the vehicle.
The Smoke Free Ontario Act prohibits smoking by adults in cars when children are present.
