A Marmora woman has been killed in a traffic accident northwest of Smiths Falls.
Lanark County O-P-P say a westbound S-U-V went off County Road 10 yesterday afternoon, entered a ditch and struck a hydro pole.
The driver of the vehicle, 78-year-old John Langley of Marmora, was taken to Kingston General Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. A passenger, his wife, 77-year-old Pamela Langley, died at the scene. Police are continuing their investigation.
