A close call for five people after a serious crash near Keegan Parkway and Foster Avenue in Belleville last night.
City police say a single vehicle spun out and hit a tree head on around 10:45 last night.
The forensic identification unit and a traffic collision reconstructionist were called in and determined the car was going about double the speed limit in a 40 zone.
None of the five people in the car were hurt but all were taken to Belleville General Hospital for observation.
The investigation is continuing, and charges are pending.
