A man injured in a grass fire northwest of Picton is recovering from second and third degree burns in a Toronto hospital. O-P-P and fire officials say the 82-year-old man was helping fight a fire in a field near County Tractor on County Road One yesterday afternoon when flames burned his right leg. No name was released, and his current condition at Sunnybrook Hospital isn’t known. Prince Edward County Fire Chief Scott Manlow says the blaze, started by embers from a fire in a burning barrel, scorched a 200-by-200 metre section of grass.
