Quinte West council is calling for the community to come together to fight an unsightly, and growing problem…..graffiti.
A public meeting will be called within 2 weeks to present a program to deal with graffiti.
Included in the program will be a zero tolerance policy by police, timelines on cleaning up graffiti, a ban on the sale of items used to create graffiti, and some financial help for private property owners to defray the cost of graffiti clean up.
