A pair of young boys have been charged in connection with vandalism sprees at two schools in Brighton.
Northumberland O-P-P say computer monitors and printers were smashed, and desk drawers emptied at Spring Valley Public School last Saturday, causing 50-thousand dollars damage. Smithfield Public School was hit an hour later, and there was some damage to windows.
Officers on White’s Road stopped a vehicle a short time later, being driven by a thirteen-year-old boy, who had taken it from his mother without permission, and arrested him and another thirteen-year-old boy.
The youths are charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break and enter tools, and mischief over five-thousand dollars.
