A big crowd in Thurlow for a meeting on Belleville’s proposed Fire Masterplan…and, the big issue was the timing of the plan. Fire Chief Ray Chaput presented the masterplan and says the Fire department badly needs upgraded. The plan calls for 20-more career firefighters, 10 more volunteers and two new fire stations.
