The Province is injecting nearly half-a-million dollars to assist aboriginal learners at two local post secondary institutions. MPP Leona Dombrowsky says 350-thousand dollars is headed to the First Nations Technical Institute on Tyendinaga Territory and another 100-thousand will help students at Loyalist College….where more than 10-percent of the student population is made up of aboriginal learners. The investment will support tutoring, counselling and career planning services at the two schools.
