An official at the base says the bodies of Warrant Officer Dennis Brown, Corporal Dany Fortin and Corporal Kenneth O’Quinn are due to arrive at Eight Wing at two o’clock in the afternoon.
The soldiers died on Tuesday evening when an explosive detonated near their armoured vehicle in the district of Arghandab, northwest of Kandahar city.
Defence Minister Peter MacKay, and the Vice Chief of Defense Staff, Vice-Admiral Denis Rouleau, will be in attendance.
