Negotiations won’t resume until next month between local elementary teachers and the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board. Board spokesperson Kerry Donnell says representative from the local Elemetary Teachers Federation of Ontario and board negotiatiators met twice this week and reportedly made some progress. Donnell says the next round of talks isn’t scheduled until mid-April. Donell reports that talks are going well as the two sides work through the specifics of the provincial agreeement and some local issues.
