Investigators believe a fire in the Colborne area this week began while the homeowner was making hash oil. About three-hundred marijuana plants were in a house damaged by fire in Cramahe township. The Central East Drug Unit went to the home on County Road 25, east of Castleton yesterday, the day after firefighters put out a blaze that started in an adjoining garage. Fifty-two-year-old Jeffrey Kremer was charged with production of a narcotic after being treated at Campbellford Memorial Hospital for burns to his legs.
