The cold weather hasn’t kept builders from keeping busy over the past month in Prince Edward County.
Chief Building Official Garry Davis says 35 permits were issued in February, for projects worth 4.3-million dollars.
He says seven new homes, valued at around three-million dollars, got the green light last month.
Construction activity worth 5.7-million dollars has been approved so far this year in the county, compared to 10.1-million at this time in 2008.
