The Trent-Severn Waterway is getting another 20-million dollars funding from the federal government.
The money is addition to 63-million announced last year for the waterway, and will help to deal with some immediate needs.
Environment Minister Jim Prentice says one of the largest projects will be the development of a new water management model for the entire length of the system, and the funding will also be used to upgrade stop logs at some of the dams and mechanize the dams at other locations.
