An A-T-V that caught on fire caused a big thick black cloud of smoke over Rossmore yesterday afternoon.
Prince Edward County Firecrews responded, at 4 o’clock to Huff’s Island Road, and were on the scene for about two-and-a-half hours.
Deputy Fire Chief Robert Rutter says a fire started in an A-T-V being driven through a nearby marsh, and the dry grass quickly ignited.
No one was hurt in the incident.
