Tyendinega police have released the name of the victim and suspect of Sunday’s fatal crash at highway 49 and york road.
60 year old Sylvia Robins of Napanee was taken to hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, after a truck ran a red light hitting her car.
The two passengers were treated and released while the driver of the truck and his passenger fled on foot.
Wayne Kenneth Wagar of Deseronto turned himself in to police today and faces a number of charges including Criminal Neglegence causing death and a number of motor vehicle related offences.
He will appear for a bail hearing tomorrow.
