Animal Control Officer for Quinte West, Price Morris, was a busy man last year.
He responded to 43 hundred calls for service. Animal control dealt with 28 dog bites, and picked up 25 deer from roadways in Quinte West.
113 dogs were picked up, and 35 euthanized. Meanwhile, 348 cats were impounded, and 338 had to be destroyed.
