It was good news for a woman who had lost her purse in Belleville.
A good Samaritan was the one who found her purse in an abandoned shopping cart at an east end plaza.
Belleville Police say the good Samaritan is a custodian with for city police service.
The woman was reportedly very grateful to have her purse returned to her quickly with all its contents.
