The applications are all in in Quinte West, but there isn’t a job opening for any of those who sent one.
Wednesday was the deadline the city set to receive submissions from people interested in becoming the new Chief Administrative Officer, a position held by Bill Arthur until he resigned in December.
Gary Dyke, who is the acting C-A-O, will stay in that position until the end of the year, after City Council decided earlier this week not to fill the position until it is reviewed.
He says all the applications, which came from throughout Ontario, will be kept on file until if and when a decision is made to hire a full time C-A-O.
