Quinte West’s Corporate Finance Committee is recommending Council grant almost 50 thousand dollars to 3 different museums in the Quinte region.
If Council approves, the RCAF Museum would receive 40 thousand dollars, while the Stirling Agriculture Museum would get 5 thousand, and the Trent Port Historical Society would receive 35 hundred.
Meanwhile, the Committee recommended dropping some grants to other organizations, namely St. John’s Ambulance, Volunteer Information Quinte, and the Stirling Truck show.
