A Marmora man got more adventure than he was looking for while riding his A-T-V.
The O-P-P say 24-year-old Christopher Nichol crashed through the ice of Crowe Lake, west of Marmora, on Sunday, and yelled for help, about 300 metres from the west shore.
Firefighters in a boat were able to pull him from the icy water, and he was taken to Campbellford Memorial Hospital for observation.
Police say they expected to lay charges.
