A man charged with sex-related offences while working as a Crisis Intervention Centre Counsellor for Quinte Health Care has been acquitted.
Justice Stephen Hunter acquitted 63-year-old Brian Leckie of Belleville on the second day of Leckie’s trial in Bancroft Provincial Court yesterday (thursday).
Leckie had been charged with two counts of sexual assault by Bancroft O-P-P in July of last year.
Two women in their 20’s complained about alleged incidents while they were being counselled between March and May, 2008.
