An 18-year old Belleville man faces numerous charged after a violent assault near the downtown. Officers responded to the north end of Coleman Street to assist paramedics, at 10 o’clock, and located a suspect in a nearby parking lot. The suspect was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Public Mischief, Obstruct Police, Theft and Possession of Stolen Property.
