The snowmobile trail on an unopened road allowance in Quinte West and Brighton should be smoother in the future. Quinte West’s Public Works Committee is recommending the Percy Boom River Rats Snowmobile Club be able to use the allowance on Coltman Road, from Carman Road to County Road 28 in Murray Ward. Brighton Council has given the club permission to run its sleds on Brighton’s part of the unopened stretch.
With permission granted, the club plans on grooming the trail, which connects with service stations and restaurants.
