It could be at least six more weeks before part time and sessional faculty at Loyalist College know the results of the province-wide vote on unionization.
About 35-hundred workers at 24 community colleges across Ontario voted over the past three weeks on whether they want OPSEU to be their bargaining agent.
However, the colleges had already asked the Ontario Labour Relations Board last year to deny the application for certification, and keep the ballot boxes sealed..
The first opportunity to discuss counting the votes will be at a meeting with an O-L-R-B Official on March 24th.
