You can expect a visit from Lower Trent Conservation in the next month if you live in the flood prone areas along the Trent River.
L-T-C staff will use G-P-S Survey equipment to record elevation data for houses, driveways and road access points, assessing the potential risk of future flood damage.
The information will be used in conjunction with Quinte West and Trent Hills to allow for quick assessment of threats to properties during a flood.
The city will also be able to include the data in its PRISM emergency telephone notification system.
