Stirling-Rawdon Council has decided to ask for a costing from the OPP and a decision on the future of the small municipal force will be made later this Spring. Mayor Peter Kooistra says it was decided, last night, they need to get some concrete information to present to the public from the provincial force on costs associated with the nine member Stirling service. He expects to get the OPP costing in early March will hold public meetings prior to council making a decision…possibly in early April.
